  1. I don’t work for design/creative agency but I noticed the trend of hiring contract staff rather than permanent staff. Typically that ties back to project won and the millennials also prefer such jobs that give them the flexibility to do what they like for instance traveling.

    1. Great point, there’s definitely a trend in our industry to go freelance, with middleman platforms providing connections between freelancers and clients. It’s no wonder that staff turnover is trending higher (although I think this affects all industries). I wonder what agency businesses will look like in 15-20 years.
