VIDEO: Your Deepest Fear Will Pale In Comparison To What This Guy Did

Here’s a little something to get your weekend going. Whatever your deepest fear is, whatever it is you’re sh*t scared to do – I’m pretty certain it will never be freedive-into-the-deepest-darkest-abyss-in-the-world scary. So just jump in and do it.

Located in a bay west of Clarence Town on Long Island, Bahamas, Dean’s Blue Hole is 202 metres (or 663 feet) deep, and the guy featured in this clip is French freediver Guillaume Néry,

Basically, if you’re standing at ground level, look over at the nearest skyscraper and count your way up to the 67th floor: that would be the surface, and you’d be standing at the bottom staring up at the distant circle of blue thinking: “#$@& me”. That’s how deep this hole is.

I’m suffering from a bad case of writers’ block, so please bear with me.

Weather’s terrible in Hong Kong today. 13°C, grey, damp, and drizzling.
