  1. Soften its belly in the oven then aesthetically garnish on a frying pan – I like it. A lot cheaper than sourcing a piece of genuine Argentinian cow meat (I always find that the secret to a good steak is finding good steak), or dining our at Gaucho’s Grill.


  2. you’re doing it wrong…. how about just using some simple instructions from about 100 different sources on how to cook steak the correct way everytime from youtube? It really isn’t rocket science and there are literally a dozen or more videos on how to cook your steak the CORRECT method.


  3. 1. Heat grill to max (600 degrees).
    2. Season with salt and pepper.
    3. Cook on one side for 3 minutes.
    4. Cook on other side for 3-4 minutes depending on thickness.
    5. Remove from grill and rest under foil tent for 5 minutes.
    6. “Satisfy your inner carnivore”



  4. Just came back from a 12 month hiatus to find all these awesome comments – this is admittedly one of the stranger ways to cook steak, but trust me it works great on really thick cuts! Happy new year everyone!

It actually says Jan 4th *2014* on my post – yes, that was like a year ago and NOBODY else has commented since… And it says Jan 1st on your post because – well because Hong Kong is +8 GMT, which is probably about 12 hours ahead of where you are in the US.
